** UPDATE **

Hello,

No matter what happens next, Trego Hospital Endowment Foundation is prepared to continue Communications, support and “Caring and Sharing through Giving”. Whether it be Trego County, Kansas, or within our Government – we all have continued to stand strong these past weeks during The Covid-19. As Trego County goes into the Phase Out stage this next week, with recommendations of continued social distancing there will NOT be a June 17, 2020 Trego Hospital Endowment Foundation, Inc. board meeting.

You and I have learned some important lessons throughout this experience;

1. Communication. The importance of checking in on each other.
2. Ability to work efficiently and effectively on a remote basis.
3. Value of sharing resources with individuals and other entities.
4. Gratitude and Appreciation is essential to Trego Hospital Endowment Foundation, and the residents within our county. This Covid-19 pandemic has reminded all of us how precious our front line workers are, and the admiration we have for those individuals.

Thank You board member, your time, talent/input, and support means more than mere words can express. Donors, Volunteers, and Supporters have been very kind and supportive these past weeks. Besides our usual donations; we have received money for the Parish Nurse Program, and money towards the purchase of TCLMH patient room recliners. (*NOTE-prior to “Stay at Home” orders, I had worked with Tina Sells(DON) and Kay Parks(Purchasing) to order and review two different recliners. I will have some feedback as things begin to get back towards normal operations.)

Earlier in the spring several events and fundraisers were in the planning stages-these have been cancelled with a rescheduling date in the works; Salad Luncheon Fundraiser, Peterson Farm Brothers Concert (Appreciation in conjunction with Volunteer and Donor Awards), and a Downtown Lunch with Quilt Raffle Fundraiser.

I welcome your comments and ideas as we continue to move forward. The next scheduled meeting is

August 19, 2020, TCLMH, Hamilton Conference Room 5:30 PM.

Thank You,

Carole Frick
Executive Director
