Acute Care/ER 2019 Wish List
Our local caregivers working in acute and emergency room care have asked for your help to purchase the following items:
- 12 Patient Room Recliners ($23,154)
- Bladder Scanner ($11,700)
- 10 IV Poles ($4,051)
They currently do not have enough recliners for all patient rooms. They would like to have a recliner for each room as they are highly used by patients and their families and provide an extra bit of comfort during difficult times. They need 12 to have one in each room, but would even appreciate a few new ones.
Their current bladder scanner will be obsolete by the end of this year and has had to be sent in to be recalibrated and repaired several times. This new equipment will not only benefit the Acute Care department, but the ER and Outpatient departments as well.
They would like 10 new poles to replace some of the older poles which are rusty and difficult to push. These would also benefit the ER and Outpatient departments.
