Two students have been awarded scholarships from the Trego Hospital Endowment Foundation, Inc. It is always rewarding to see how many amazing young people there are who love the medical field, and we are very pleased to be able to help them continue along this career path.
Based on decisions made by the Trego Hospital Endowment Foundation’s Scholarship Committee on 4/16/2013, 2 students were chosen to receive scholarships for the 2013/2014 school year. Applications were received that not only showed academic quality, but also a deep understanding about the strong commitment these students have with their communities.
The Trego Hospital Endowment Foundation Scholarships were awarded to: Jerris Reeder, a 2013 Senior that will be attending FHSU, and pursuing a degree in the Healthcare field. Ms. Reeder is currently employed at TCLMH, and plans to continue her employment, along with taking her classes. We wish her much success, and intend future encouragement along the way.
Second was Nicole Mattheyer, 1999 TCHS graduate, mother, wife, student, and current TCLMH employee. Nicole will be starting a new round of nursing classes. We wish her much success in pursuing her goals.
The Trego Hospital Endowment Foundation, Inc., has offered scholarships since 1995. The scholarships are available to anyone entering or continuing their education in any aspect of the healthcare field, with the intention of working in Trego County.
