The Trego Hospital Endowment Foundation, Inc. approved an Equipment purchase request from TCLMH OR/Surgery Department and Respiratory Therapy Department for equipment, at the Trego Hospital Endowment Foundation’s Annual meeting on Tuesday, February 13. The Endowment Board Members agreed to purchase both of the requested items.
The old cautery machine being replace has been in OR/Surgery for many years. The new FT10 Energy Platform not only drives our full portfolio of energy-based devices, it makes them better than ever. Improving the performance of all of our devices with faster sealing and cutting times — for example, vessel sealing is up to 50% faster (seal tissue and blood vessels by way of a direct electrical current, allowing for more rapid and precise cauterizing during surgical procedures) — the FT10 delivers precise amounts of energy where and when it is needed most.
The Precision Vapotherm is the manufacturer’s second-generation purpose-built device for delivering non-invasive respiratory support in the form of warmed humidified blended gas via high-flow nasal cannula.
The new equipment purchases will allow TCLMH’s dedicated healthcare providers to give better care to their patients. Giving Back to the Community…These are investments that Trego Hospital Endowment Foundation, Inc. are able to make into the health of our community through overwhelming local support, donations, and memorials(that are delivered to: Trego Hospital Endowment Foundation, Inc., 236 N. 6th St, WaKeeney, Ks 67672).
