Giving Tuesday December 3

Give the Gift of Joy

The holiday season is in full swing. We’ve hung the lights, made our lists and checked them twice, and already used the snow shovel more often than we’d like. It’s a wonderful time to get together with those we love most, eat a little too much, and look back at everything we are grateful for. It’s also the perfect time to think about how we can help those in need and make next year even better for those who are less fortunate.

#GivingTuesday is the opening day of the giving season: a reminder of the “reason for the season.”

Giving to Trego Hospital Endowment Foundation, Inc., your local assisted living center, or a community program lets you help others and make a positive difference. In addition, donating brings joy and satisfaction to those who give. Just ask our donors or volunteers. They’ll be the first to say that donating puts a big smile on their faces and the faces of those we serve. Even better, giving is contagious. Many of our donors and volunteers began as patients and families who, in their moments of need, were touched or changed by the compassion or generosity of others.

#GivingTuesday is a celebration of America’s greatest traditions: generosity, entrepreneurialism, community. Everyone has something to give. You can give time or expertise, monetary donations large or small, simple acts of kindness, food or clothing.

Your gift to Trego Hospital Endowment Foundation, Inc makes a huge difference. From financial aid to cutting-edge technology, medical supplies to social outreach, your donations help the Trego County health care network—and our greater community—thrive. “Local stays local” means that donor intent is our first priority. Your gifts are invested according to your wishes. We make sure we understand your passions and interests, and how and where you’d like to make an impact. Whether you give your money, your time or even something as simple as a pint of blood, you will profoundly touch someone’s life.

Let’s spread some joy together this holiday season. Contact the Endowment Office at 236 N. 6th St., WaKeeney, KS 67672, call 785-743-2070, or visit our website at
